If you answered YES to any of the above, then This Job Is For You! A Better Day ABA offers applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism in home, school, and community settings. We are also in the process of opening a clinical setting in the heart of Williamsburg. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work as a registered behavior technician (RBT) and to be part of a great team. As a behavior technician, you will deliver personalized ABA therapy to our young special-needs clients under the direct guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Experience in ABA is preferred but not mandatory. We provide comprehensive training, ongoing supervision, and a supportive work environment that sets us apart from others in the field. We are currently looking for a candidate to work part-time and then phase into full-time hours. Responsibilities: • Provide 1:1 applied behavior analysis in-home, center, and community-based environments by implementing individualized treatment plans (ISPs) developed by BCBAs • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan • Provide regular written session notes to document progress on treatment goals • Collaborate with the supervising BCBA on progress and barriers inhibiting progress • Maintain a professional rapport with the families and staff of A Better Day ABA, PLC Qualifications: • Must have excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor • Must have reliable transportation to get to client homes and office/clinic • Must take data on an iPad/tablet and complete computer-generated session notes • Must be able to lift (50lbs), bend, sit on the floor, and engage in active play • Must have completed a 40-hour RBT training program before working with our team • Must be available to work at least between the hours of 4-6 pm • Must have the enthusiasm, motivation, and commitment to work with children with special needs Compensation: $23+ hourly • Provide 1:1 applied behavior analysis in-home, center, and community-based environments by implementing individualized treatment plans (ISPs) developed by BCBAs • Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan • Provide regular written session notes to document progress on treatment goals • Collaborate with the supervising BCBA on progress and barriers inhibiting progress • Maintain a professional rapport with the families and staff of A Better Day ABA, PLC
