We are seeking a reliable and skilled Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a roll-off truck to deliver, pick up, and haul containers for various waste disposal and recycling needs. This role requires attention to safety, the ability to navigate local routes efficiently, and providing excellent customer service.Duties: Including but not limited to:Operate a roll-off truck safely to pick up and deliver open top waste containers (10-40 yard) to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.Load and unload containers, ensuring proper placement and securing of loads.Follow scheduled routes and ensure timely service to customers.Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.Maintain accurate logs of pickups, drop-offs, and vehicle inspections.Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and company safety policies.Provide professional and courteous service to customers, answering questions and addressing concerns as needed.Ensure that waste is disposed of in compliance with environmental municate with dispatch regarding schedule changes, issues, or emergencies.Assist with other duties as required by the operations team.Qualifications: Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement (Class A CDL preferred).Clean driving record with no major violations.Minimum of 2 years of truck driving experience , preferably in waste management or roll-off operations.Knowledge of local routes and areas in and around Des Moines, Iowa.Ability to operate hydraulic systems and secure large containers safely.Strong attention to safety and compliance with DOT regulations.Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.Ability to work in various weather conditions and handle physical labor.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift and carry up to 50 fortable working outdoors and driving for long periods.Frequent bending, lifting, and climbing in and out of the truck.Possess or able to obtain current Medical Examiner's Card (DOT Medical Card)Disclaimer: Please note that we are unable to provide job sponsorships, including, but not limited to, visas, corp-to-corp arrangements (C2C), or any other form of sponsorship for employment.
