White Horse Village (WHV), a prestigious retirement community located in Newtown Square, PA is seeking to add a Caregiver Support Person to their team! This position is flexible with full-time, part-time, and per diem positions opportunities available.Duties:Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLS), encouraging maximum independence:Dressingundressing.Bathingshowering.Personal hygiene (shaving, dental hygiene, nail care, hair care, foot care).Mobility devices (cane, walker, wheelchair, crutches)Monitors safe transfer and ambulation techniques.Care of equipment such as eyeglasses, contact lenses and hearing continence care.Provide assistance with instrumental activities of daily living (IADLS):Telephone-assist with calls, hearing and vision adaptive devicesHousekeeping tasks such as tidying room, dusting, bed making and ironingLaundryCoordinates transportationShopping, errands, medical appointments, etc...Meal preparationMaking appointmentsProvide reminders or cues to take medications.Assist with dining-obtain meals, assist with set-up and with meal consumption as needed.Assist with health maintenance and monitoring tasks:Observe and report changes in residents' physical condition, cognitive and emotional status to supervisor or Outpatient Department as needed.Monitor for environmental safety hazards.Report to Program Coordinator or Director of Social Services as appropriate.Requirements:At least one year of experience in similar role or responsibilities preferredAbility to manage time and prioritizeImpeccable customer service skillsMust posses a valid drivers licenseFlexibility in scheduling and availability is a requirementCertified Nursing Assistant a plus!White Horse Village (WHV) is committed to the principle of equal opportunity employment.
