Software Engineer - Full Stack Concurrent Technologies Corporation Hybrid within Johnstown, PA Minimum Clearance Required: None Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: None Employee Background Check Required This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office at a minimum of 1 set day a week (determined by leadership) with a general guidepost of being in the office based on business needs. Key Responsibilities: Performs required tasks in the deployment and configuration of technologies and tools used in software development, including build servers, version control systems, and automated testing frameworks. Designs & develops applications server-side functionality and logic using various technologies: C#, VB, .NET, ColdFusion, Java, Node.js, as well as databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL, PL/SQL, LINQ-to-Entities. Supports internal business specific applications accordingly with application life cycle stages (requirement gathering, design, develop, test, implement, and deploy) accordance with access control and vulnerability management to align with overall information security and business strategies. Works together with the development team to resolve problems with infrastructure and software deployment by understanding the business processes with the intention of producing solutions that would automate, validate, and simplify their job responsibilities. Develops and maintains API and associated data platform solution for Microsoft 365 cloud environment and other 3rd party cloud services using REST and SOAP APIs as well as manages the deployment and hosting of web applications on Microsoft Windows Servers through IIS, WordPress hosted websites on a Linux, Apache Web Server and Microsoft Power Platform. Regularly interacts and coordinates with other internal groups and customers on new system development or bug fixes/feature improvements. Keeps abreast of current DevOps and software development trends and best practices. Creates and maintains scripts and automation tools to simplify infrastructure administration and software deployment. Works with senior DevOps staff to develop data workflows and ETL processes in support of company data and the data warehouse. Designs & develops the User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) using various technologies/libraries/frameworks: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, ReactJS, Bootstrap as needed. ** ** Basic Qualifications: Possesses a BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline, plus 4-6 years of directly related experience. 2+ years of direct experience REQUIRED using various technologies and frameworks, such as .NET Framework, .NET Core, , MVC. Experience of database structure, object-oriented programming and software development processes and tools with agile development project integration and delivery. Experience in various languages, such as C#, VB, ColdFusion, HTML, JavaScript/JQuery, CSS. Experience with Microsoft 365 cloud environment including Azure, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platforms. Strong oral/written communication skills with customer-oriented attitude along with strong problem solving and analytic skills with collaboration. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in version control system. Direct experience with .NET development and other platform as well as scripting/application languages. Direct experience with database/workflow as well as Deltek Costpoint integration. Direct experience with application development full lifecycle processes.
