Req ID: RQ188715 Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret/SCI Public Trust/Other Required: None Job Family: IT Quality Assurance Skills: Quality Standards,Software Testing Process,System Testing Experience: 10 + years of related experience US Citizenship Required: Yes Job Description: IT Quality Analyst Sr Advisor Performs as IT Quality Analyst Senior Advisor for the Defense Stockpile Management System (DSMS) including Nuclear Management Information System (NUMIS), Defense Integration and Management of Nuclear Data Services (DIAMONDS), Joint Application Design Environment (JADE), and DIAMONDS Accountability Training System (DATS) projects for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). HOW AN IT QUALITY ANALYST SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT â— Develops, documents, and maintains a quality assurance program to support the DIAMONDS application for DTRA NE/NL division. â— Develops and modifies application test plans and procedures. â— Performs testing and analysis of all new applications or changes to existing applications prior to release to end users. â— Presents and demonstrates capabilities of new software releases to the customer. â— Assists customer in the Government Acceptance Testing (GAT) process. â— Provides end user training and troubleshooting of field related issues. â— Performs functional testing of Enterprise system patches and their interaction with the environment and assigned applications. â— Participates in software and database design analysis, development, and testing. â— Assists with analysis and documentation of user requirements. â— Ensuring all management and development practices conform to current SEI CMMI for Development Level 3 â— Participates in gathering new or evolving technologies and practices in the field of QA which may be applied to DSMS projects. â— Supervises and assigns tasks to employees assigned to the QA Team. â—Performs all other work as assigned. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education and Experience: â— B.S. Degree required; direct work experience may substitute for education. (1 year experience = 1 year education). Two to Three (2-3) years of experience providing application programmer support. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Technical Abilities: â— Working knowledge of nuclear weapons accountability practices/procedures â— Have the ability to withstand pressures and provide appropriate feedback when there are issues with quality/processes/schedules/risk â— Strong desire for quality, advanced degree of analytical ability and an attention to detail. â— Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. â— Knowledge of Agile process and procedures for software engineering. â— Knowledge of Software Development Platforms and ticketing systems such as MS Azure DEVOPS, Inflectra SpiraTeam / Rapise and Jira) Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Technical Abilities: â— Knowledge of CMMI process and procedures or like system. â—"‹ Understanding of SQL and C# programming languages along with script creation and utilization. â— "‹Oracle Databases and the incorporation of such into application environments. â— Security Clearance Level: Top Secret â— Location: For Belvoir, VA â—US Citizenship Required GDIT IS YOUR PLACE: â— 401K with company match â— Comprehensive health and wellness packages â— Internal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career â— Professional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications â— Cutting-edge technology you can learn from â— Rest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
