EXPERIENCED QUALITY CONTROL CANDIDATES WANTED!!!! We are currently accepting applications for a 3rd Shift Quality Control Technician at a Mail Sorting Facility located in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. Hours: 12am-8am, Schedule and off days to be determined Pay: $14/hr + $3/hr shift premium = $17/hr Position Type: Temp To Hire Opportunity ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Dress Code/PPE: Clean clothing. No loose-fitting clothing or loose fitting jewelry that could get caught in the machine. Long hair must be tied back to prevent possible injury. No hoodies with draw strings or pants hanging below the waistline, no shorts or capri's, pants must cover the entire leg, sleeveless shirts are not allowed Background Check will be required for this position. ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE 1-2 years prior Quality Control experience in a warehouse environment Job Description: Summary Statement This position will be for 3rd Shift Quality Control. Must have analytical skills as well as high school level math knowledge. These are receiving positions and responsibilities include verifying counts and postage among other duties. Organize and identify the mail to be processed by grouping letters, flats, and postcards, and separating the mail that has been quality checked from mail that has not been checked. Review pickup slips received from driver's route to ensure all slips have been received and reviews container counts. Identify customer's mail by using meter lists and other tools Promote a clean work area to prevent possible injuries and or tripping hazards to self and others Performa all additional duties as required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, work effectively under pressure and have strong organizational skills. The ability to compare and read numbers and customer name and instructions. The ability to understand and follow safety and other operational directions in English, or translated from English, irrespective of your native language. The ability to work overtime which may include weekends, holidays, and or a different shift with little or no advance notice. The ability to be dependable and reliable. Other Requirements: Basic English language skills (spoken and written) Physical Mobility (lifting 50 pounds repetitively)
