The Team- Strategy & Transformation Join a team of talented professionals with deep business and finance transformation experience to guide clients through major transactions (M&A, carve outs, IPOs), new system implementations, product delivery, and organizational challenges. We help organizations develop business strategy and execute on transformation initiatives in the areas of operational accounting, financial process improvement, product and technical management, financial technology enablement, FP&A, and transactions. Your Impact Lead innovative solutions and drive transformation initiatives that significantly impact client success. Successfully guide a diverse set of commercial clients through major financial transformations, from growth and mid-size companies to leading enterprise Fortune 100 brands. Deliver strategic advice and solutions to C-Level executives on how to obtain value from major investments and transformations. Facilitate client working sessions ranging from executive and board level meetings to large group presentations and requirements gathering exercises. Lead current state assessments of business challenges and build improvement roadmaps. Leverage a "roll-up your sleeves" style to develop and execute against clients' strategic initiatives. Manage, coach, and lead project teams to deliver complex engagements. Identify and participate in business development efforts across all stages (market analysis, client sourcing, relationship building, proposal development, oral presentations). Build and maintain meaningful relationships with clients at all levels that are based on integrity and trust. Contribute to industry best perspectives on the implications of market trends such as data and digital transformation, emerging technology, macro-economic trends, and regulatory demands. Develop product specifications, communicate those specifications to client leadership and related stakeholders, and spearhead the implementation of those specifications with product teams. Leverage customer insights and industry trends to influence priorities and roadmap feature development. Oversee agile ceremonies and define scrum backlog items, to include epics, features, and user stories that guide development teams towards product delivery. Your Experience Minimum Qualifications BA/BS in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Business Analytics or related discipline 3+ years of Product experience in a leading technology organization, including as a Product Owner or Product Manager. 5+ years of client-facing experience in a professional services organization, and/or highly relevant industry/functional experience in Technology/Product Management, Finance/Banking, Operations Demonstrated track record helping companies undergo transformation Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. Functional experience with at least one the following: Standing up and managing major product and/or agile teams (particularly in a Scrum or Scaled Agile model) Finance Transformation, including work with tools and processes associated with Close and Consolidation, FP&A, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, or Treasury Management Business Transformation, including process optimization (BPR, Six Sigma/Lean), legal entity consolidation, mergers and acquisitions, or large systems implementation and transformations Demonstrated ability to adopt a customer-centric approach in product development and service delivery. Prior experience working directly with and advising C-Level executives, including experience presenting complex ideas and facilitating executive workshops At least 2 years working with Data Analytics or Software Delivery Experience creating process documentation and writing business requirements Highly effective interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence Strong quantitative and analytical skills Demonstrated experience in team/project management to include people management Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time in the future. Preferred Qualifications Master of Business Administration (may substitute for business-related undergraduate degree) Progressive responsibility in managing client relationships and achievement against business development goals 3+ years of experience translating business strategy into digital products Relevant Product and/or Agile certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner) Strong ability to translate product concepts and ideas into Epics and User Stories; experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence Experience with Financial Regulations: Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, IFRS, GAAP). Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus. Experience working with global clients and managing cross-cultural teams. Experience with emerging technologies such as AI, or machine learning in financial services. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at MorganFranklin Consulting depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, MorganFranklin believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure to be between $ $109,062and $ $236,754.58. The individual may also be eligible for a variety of bonus and financial incentives based on individual and company performance.
