The work will be under the supervision of senior engineers to design and develop RF systems and may also provide guidance to junior engineers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Design, optimization and development of RF systems: designs, optimizes and develops RF systems, including antennas, transmitters, receivers, and other RF components. Implement design improvements and optimizations to enhance performance Conduct simulations and testing: use simulation software to model RF systems and conduct testing to evaluate system performance. Evaluate new technologies: evaluate new technologies and products to determine their suitability for use in RF systems. Collaborate with other teams: collaborate with other teams, including software engineering, mechanical engineering, and product management, to ensure RF systems are integrated into products and meet customer requirements. Provide technical guidance: provide technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members. Ensure compliance: ensures that RF systems meet regulatory and industry standards, including FCC regulations and international standards. Manage projects: may manage projects and teams of engineers to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in RF SAFETY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Adhere to, promote, and accept personal responsibility for compliance to: Federal and Local Occupational Safety and Health Regulations Industry Consensus Standards Circet USA Injury and Illness Prevention Program Manual Participate in job site safety/hazard analysis Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and/or QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field required. 3-5 years of experience in RF engineering, with a focus on designing and developing RF systems; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Experience with simulation software, such as CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, and ADS is required. Strong knowledge of RF systems and components, including antennas, amplifiers, and Good communication and teamwork Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex RF Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as FCC regulations and MIL-STD-810 is required.
