Controller-Service Organization

Family owned service organization seeks a Controller to take charge of the accounting functions and supervise the staff. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Handling or overseeing all daily accounting responsibilities including the general ledger, payroll, accounts payable and collections Preparing bank reconciliations, depreciation schedules, accruals and related accounting functions Preparing daily cash activity reports Month and year end reporting Variation analysis The right candidate should have: BS or BBA in Accounting CPA with a combination of CPA firm and private industry experience, minimum of 8 years' experience Experience with multi-state sales tax reporting and filings Ability to take charge of an accounting department and supervise staff Strong organizational skills All candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. #J-18808-Ljbffr
