Supervise, mentor, and manage a team of 1-10 low-voltage technicians, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and according to project timelines. Provide guidance, resolve technical issues, and maintain high standards of safety and quality. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, while ensuring team adherence to company policies and procedures. Analyze blueprints, schematics, and low-voltage floorplans to determine the efficient installation of systems. Install, terminate, troubleshoot, test, and splice copper and fiber optic cabling. Install and manage equipment such as ladder racks, fiber trays, network racks, cabinets, firewalls, routers, switches, and wireless access points. Perform structured cabling installations (Cat5, Cat6) and fiber optic installations, including single-strand and mass fusion splicing of multi-mode and single-mode fiber. Ground network equipment properly and install Cat-6 from workstations to MDFs for data and phone systems. Use Fluke testing equipment to test cabling systems, manage test results, and ensure project completion. Operate scissor and boom lifts, manage CCTV and DVR system installations, and handle permits/inspections for low-voltage work. Communicate professionally with clients and maintain a positive, can-do attitude. What you will need to succeed... Must be safety conscious Technical skills and knowledge of structured cabling systems Working knowledge of TIA and BICSI Standards Strong written and verbal communication skills Possess strong organizational and time management skills Excellent time management, planning and decision-making skills Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook applications Possess strong organizational and time management skills Preferred experience... Fluent in English preferred Experience in Data Centers required Industry specific manufacturer certifications and BICSI training and/or certifications Military Veteran with training experience is a plus Physical demands...
