Our role as the nation's largest and most experienced Financial Management Service provider is to assist those eligible Medicaid recipients to choose and pay for their own support workers and services within their state-approved personalized budget. We are appointed by states and managed healthcare organizations to better serve more of their residents and members requiring long-term care and ensure the efficient use of taxpayer funded services. (learn ). Duties: Plans, develops, tests, documents, and implements software according to specifications and industry best practices. Converts functional specifications into technical specifications suitable for code development. Works with Delivery Manager to evaluate user's requests for new or modified computer programs to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilities. Follows coding and documentation standards. Participate in code review process. Collaborates with End Users to troubleshoot IT questions and generate reports. Analyzes, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements. Required Skills: System/application design, web, and client-server technology. Excellent communication skills and experience working with non-technical staff to understand requirements necessary. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Relevant Bachelor's degree required with a computer science, software engineering or information systems major preferred. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in Microsoft SQL server, Experience working with .NET Technologies and/or object-oriented programming languages.
