Requires US Citizenship Employment Term and Type: Regular, Full Time Required Security Clearance: Top Secret (with SCI eligibility) Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Job Title: AV Programmer Job Description: Responsible for writing control code, testing control code, and debugging issues discovered during testing. Assists with AV designs, user guides and testing documents. Works directly with project managers, senior programmers, and engineers to identify opportunities to improve software applications' operating effectiveness and efficiency. Position requires CONUS and OCONUS travel up to 50 percent of the time. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Develop AV control code to support operational and security requirements Implement AV control code in lab and operational environments Complete assigned software implementation tasks to high standard on-schedule Participate in engineering design reviews to verify design adherence to standards and specifications Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation, and user guides Performs other related duties as assigned Required Qualifications Three years of VTC/AV engineering experience Certified as Crestron, AMX, or Extron trained Experience with Crestron, AMX, and Extron programming Experienced applying AV control codes Able to read and interpret engineering designs Able to work independently or in a team environment and multi-task while maintaining attention to detail Possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate (verbal and written) and deal with all levels of project support staff and stakeholders Desired Qualifications Experience with secure control communications with EVERTZ MMA-10G and Nuclues systems Experience Clearone Converge software Education Requirements: Bachelors of Science (business, engineering, computer networks, or cybersecurity) Experience in lieu of degree: additional three - five years of experience Security Clearance Requirements: Top Secret Physical Requirements: Sitting (50%), Standing (50%), Climbing (15%), Walking (50%), Lifting (15%), Pulling/Pushing up to 50lbs (5%), Carrying up to 45lbs (5%), Grasping (50%), Reaching (25%), Stooping/Crouching (33%), Travel - OCONUS/CONUS - 50% This position description is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with this job.
