Position Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Processor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you/'ll be responsible for the precise completion of all mortgage loan documentation, including portfolio, secondary market, and Home Equity loans. Your meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to regulatory standards will be vital in providing a smooth processing experience for our members. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accurate completion of all mortgage loan documentation while complying with State and Federal regulations. Work closely with Mortgage Loan Officers (MLOs) to ensure efficient loan processing. Handle payoff requests and generate necessary documentation. Manage mortgage loans and related insurance requirements, including flood, homeowner/'s, and private mortgage insurance. Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts to ensure financial accuracy. Stay updated on mortgage regulations, appraisal and valuation standards, and HMDA requirements. Perform additional tasks as needed to support the credit union/'s objectives. Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; an Associate/'s degree in Business or a related field is preferred. Experience: 2-4 years in processing or finance roles. Knowledge: Familiarity with mortgage regulations is essential! Skills: Highly organized, detail-focused, and a collaborative team player.
