The Job Details: Internal analytics of operational and financial performance; combine data from multiple sources to create reporting and Tableau dashboards to help identify key trends and drive decisions. KPI reporting for internal and external use Assistance with rate quotation analysis and development On-going analysis of fixed rate profitability Analyze existing business and work through LMs and Local Management to formulate strategic transportation/logistics recommendations that will enhance USCS Customer's business and strengthen USCS/Customer relationships. Work with USCS Business Development and local management to qualify needs for optimization study on a case by case basis. Optimize data through USCS optimizer: prepare data, input files through optimizer considering multiple scenarios, follow post optimization steps including cost allocation and order rating, analyze output and prepare proposal for customer. Recommend qualified carriers to the regional TMs Ensure 100% of carriers who do business with USCS are under contract Monitor active carriers to ensure all carriers are meeting USCS Logistics qualifications Assist with execution of Carrier RFPs and analyze responses. Constant review of USCS network to find opportunities to work with carriers that can support USCS's CSC programs in multiple regions Produce monthly Carrier Scorecard Reports for each CSC program Schedule monthly business review meetings and or conference calls with carriers and USCS management to review scorecards Provide management with regular feedback on underperforming carriers Monitor freight market to ensure that US Cold's rates competitive Coordinate daily shipments. This includes load planning, carrier selection and dispatching of loads Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction Ensure the solutions developed meet the profitability objectives of the department Research and resolve delivery discrepancies that meet customer expectations and department guidelines Interaction with customers as it relates to their orders, delivery appointments and service Interact with and maintain positive carrier relations Establish relationships with clients in pursuit of sustainable business relationships Initiate and maintain claim support Support Transportation Manager in month-end financial closing process and procedures Support the Transportation Manager in other projects as needed as assigned Maintain professional approach in appearance and communication both internally and externally The Job Specifics: Location, Department and Work Hours: Camden, NJ, Wilmington, IL, Transportation, Hours Vary Reports To: Various Managers dependent on rotation Travel Amount: May Vary Job Type, EEO, and Job Code: Full-Time, Exempt What We Are Looking For: Education Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or Business Analytics Experience Entry Level, Co-op or intern in Supply Chain preferred Other Abilities You Will Need to Have: The physical demands described below are representative of those required of an individual performing the essential duties of this position.
