A non-profit is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their team in NYC. Compensation: $125-130k Responsibilities: Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing the organization's technical and application/software related projects Coordinates production releases and roll-outs, delegateing tasks to necessary employees and presenting on projects' progress and results Serves as a point person (coordinator) during project intake process and conducts risk assessments for projects (applications/software) Organizes meeting to discuss project goals and progress, project related budgeting/expenses and status reports Hands off projects to business units upon project completion. Handles requirements gathering prior to project acceptance, these include the following: Vendor Qualifications Forms & Documents (eg. RPF) Third Party Risk Questionnaires (if applicable) Coordinate pre-sales technical review call. Business Requirements Document for Technology Steering Committee Gathers post sales documentation (eg: Application Profile document, application diagram) Manages and participates in multiple concurrent projects. Responsible for reporting project status to executive staff and leadership via reports or dashboards Documents instructions for end-users and assist with testing phases of the project. Coordinates change requests and adjustment needed during the project. Conducts post-project evaluations. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or Computer Information Systems (or related degree) and 4+ years of relevant work experience as a project manager, business analyst, project coordinator and/or other IT management positions Advanced computer skill and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, cybersecurity, network administration and service desk administration Thorough understanding of project management fundamentals (Project Management Professional - PMP certification required) and experience working in a project management office (preferred). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues. Ability to manage a team of employees and vendor/partners, develop a project scheduling and define individual responsibilities within the project Strong communication, organizational and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget and to hold resources accountable for their deliverables. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during the lifecycle of the project. Excellent judgment and creative issue-resolution skills, including conflict resolution Working knowledge of project management software ( preferred) #LI-MM1
