Accountant - Hybrid

Overview Location: Hybrid, Trafford, PA Job Type: Contract / Contract to Hire Work Authorization: No C2C or Sponsorship The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate opening for an Accountant. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of experience with GAAP accounting including balance sheet, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and cash flows. Strong interpersonal skills with a personality of getting the job done are important. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements Prepare and process month end close including reconciliations of accounts, journal entries, accruals, and preparation of financial statements Monitor and maintain fixed asset records Prepare and review analysis ensuring balance sheet accounts are reconciled with supporting documentation Manage cash flows Support external auditors Qualifications Required Education Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field MBA preferred Required Experience 2+ years of experience working in GAAP accounting Experience working with month-end close, bank reconciliations, balance sheets, journal entries, and cash flows Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude Microsoft office skills including strong Excel skills Experience using an accounting software such as Quickbooks or JD Edwards
