Information Technology Manager

We are currently looking for a permanent full-time IT Manager - Global MES who will lead the designing, planning, and development of MES and IIoT solutions across the enterprise. Job Description: This position will lead a team of experienced developers and analysts to design, implement, and manage Shop Floor applications (MES & IIoT) across the company. You will interact with Plant Management, Business Unit Leadership, Continuous Improvement Teams, and Control Engineers to collaboratively design the future of our Shop Floor application environment. You will assist the development team to design a coherent application toolbox that is consistent, scalable, and reliable throughout 40+ manufacturing plants. This would include, but not limited to: Lead a global team of developers, application analysts, and the MES center of expertise to develop and deploy standard solutions (Shop Floor Applications) across the company Manage continuous refinement of our Shop Floor Applications and Standards Manage, monitor, and report on multiple concurrent projects Develop and lead a process of best practice and ensure alignment across the company Development of system tests, procedures, and documentation Manage budget, contracts, and licenses for our Shop Floor environment Collaborate with various teams for process improvements & problem resolutions Travel as necessary (approx. 30%) Knowledge and Skills: Bachelor's Degree in related discipline 5 years of MES, IoT and/or Industry 4.0 experience 5 years of Team Management experience with leading a development team 3 years of application architecture and design experience 3 years of Experience with Ignition incl. 2 - 3 years of experience with the Perspective module 5 years of development experience incl. Python, ReactJS in conjunction with MS SQL 3 years of AI / ML technology experience like Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Shakudo 3 years of Web Technology Experience (e.g. NGINX, FastAPI, HTML, CSS, ) Nice to Have Experience In: Grafana experience Edge environment experience MQTT or Kafka experience Software version control (Git) Cloud experience (AWS preferred) Experience with agile project management (e.g., Scrum) Experience with Linux Martinrea International is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
