Lane also specializes in tunnels, metro and railway systems, as well as airports and water and wastewater treatment plants The Assistant Office Manager will assist in the supervision of office activities to achieve maximum expense control and productivity. Responsibilities including but not limited to: Assist in the supervision of office activities to achieve maximum expense control and productivity General office activities, such as receptionist, filing, copying, records maintenance, typing, faxing, mail distribution, accept applications and maintain application log Assist withtime entry, certified registers, and reports Hiring/terminations/changes, new hire orientations, company benefit enrollment and EEO procedures, set up employee DBA's if necessary, employee attendance tracking Processing of invoices, setting up new vendors, and managing petty cash accounts Set up purchase orders, Rentals, Employee Vehicle Allowance orders, generate and process subcontractor partial/final lien waivers Process A/R postings, FOB sales and contract billing entries OSHA, MSHA, and other related reporting Cost management and tracking, vehicle registrations, and asset transfers Prepare and maintain CDL Driver Qualification files and Decisive Driver training, MVR reports Generate periodic reports, including fuel purchases/usages, environmental, personal property taxes, depletion, EEO & Labor statistics, generate state and federal job specific reports, sales, etc. Enroll locations in CCIP/OCWIP/OCIP insurance programs if required Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values And other duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or its equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative/support role, with an emphasis on accounting, cost management, and/or payroll functions Previous office administration experience in a construction setting is highly desired Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Previous payroll and accounting experience is highly desired Lane Construction offers a comprehensive benefits package with an excellent opportunity to grow and be part of one of the most respected names in the construction industry.
