Job Title: Project SchedulerJob Description A subcontractor client in Metro Detroit is seeking a Project Scheduler to organize, implement, and maintain scheduling for all projects and their installation crews. Responsibilities include creating internal schedules based on labor, material lead time, and subcontractor availability. Further duties involve monitoring project timelines, evaluating performance, preparing project progress reports, and keeping stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines. Day to Day Responsibilities: • Scheduling jobs through customer schedule & crew cost • Scheduling of in-house semi-truck deliveries • Reviewing daily field reports by crew • Preparing As-Built for projects upon completion • Managing crew overtime • Coordinating concrete deliveries • Billing on all projects • Answering Foremen requests • Forecasting and planning weather days • Approving job site time tickets The ideal candidate should understand scheduling from a micro level and will be responsible for scheduling crews of 3-4 people. Hard Skills 2+ years of project scheduling experience Knowledge of construction building process/construction lifecycle Ability to read construction documents/specs Microsoft Experience (Excel, Office Suite) Soft Skills Strong organization skills Effective communication skills (validated through references) Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Warren, Michigan. Work Environment The role reports to the Program Manager who has been with the company for over 20 years and understands the company's agenda and protocols. The schedule is Mon-Fri, with an occasional Saturday as needed, from 6 AM to 3/3:30 PM. The job is primarily office-based (99% of the time) with occasional job site visits.
