Full-time Monday - Friday Essential Duties: Regularly meet with the Director, Food Services to provide updates and reports as needed Support the Mission's goals and objectives by following LifePath's Mission and Vision Statements Lead and support Food Services in the kitchen, pantry, and with accepting, organizing, and distributing supplies Supervise the overall operations of Food Services and manage a diverse and growing team that ensures staff goals and responsibilities are clearly articulated and met Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene in accordance with local health regulations Support and guide staff in the implementation and execution of Food Services strategic plan and/or processes improvement tools Assist with developing and implementing policies and procedures to provide a safe, secure, and clean environment to guests Provide guidance to staff to proactively manage guest complaints, incident reporting, concerns, and problem areas Other Duties: Other duties as assigned Attends all necessary meetings and collaborates with other departments and programs as needed Maintains confidentiality of all data, including guests, employees, and operational data Education/Qualifications: Minimum 3 plus years proven work experience in food service management, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting Minimum 2 plus years of experience in managing inventory control, storage, preparation, service, safety, sanitation, and security Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Certificate in Food Service Management or similar is a plus Ability to pass Forklift Certification Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment Other Factors to Consider: Ability to walk, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb stairs, push, and pull items weighing 100 pounds or less; manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures. Excellent reading and writing skills; typing/computer usage; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures; Possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License Working Conditions: Inside and outside environment Varying temperatures from going in/out of walk-in refrigerator and freezer
