2nd Shift Quality Tech

Due to growth my client is looking for a high level quality tech for 2nd shift. Summary The Quality Technician working in conjunction with Quality Manager is responsible for establishing, maintaining Quality systems to ensure Quality of finished goods. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Perform 1st Article check, and daily checking of parts to conform to customer requirements • Perform daily review of rejects and investigate root cause; Prepare Corrective Action Reports and Preventative Action Reports • Facilitate investigations regarding Customer complaints and internal failures • Provide support to the Customer to resolve Quality issues; Work closely with departments to resolve quality issues • Report, input, and effectively analyze quality data from all shifts • Audit effectiveness of quality improvement activities and support any updates to plan • Facilitate continuous improvement efforts • Maintain Quality equipment (gages, computers, etc.). Prepare / set up gauges for next shifts. • Help foster a top-quality environment to promote continuous improvement Hours are 3pm until 11pm or after. OT is available on a consistent basis if you would like Starting pay is DOE but in the $20-25/HR, possibly more for the right candidate
