Aston Carter is working with a construction company in the Kansas City area seeking to hire a Senior Staff Accountant. Job Description: Reconcile sub-ledger accounts to general ledger for all companies. Participate in month-end close process. Journal entries and other general accounting. Research and analytical problem solving. Be detail oriented, reliable, and well organized. Ability to work independently and in a team environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness. Respond to Branch inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Prepare summary financial information and ad hoc reporting to management as needed. Possess good computer skills and demonstrate the ability to learn new computer functionality. Work well with others through all methods of communication. External audit assistance and preparation of schedules.
