Job Title: Sr. IT Project Manager Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ Contract Term: 12+ Months Weekly 40.00 Hours [Mon - Fri] The candidate will be leading one or several work streams of the Data Center Consolidation Program. · Requirement is for the candidate to be on site Monday through Friday, working with the project teams and stakeholders. · This is a 12 month contract and may requires less than 10% of domestic travel. Must have excellent command of the English language (oral and written) this person may need to present to Executive level leadership Looking for someone who can lead not someone who waits to be led. Responsibilities: · Develop a Data Center consolidation plan, timeline and dependencies for one or all data centers, along with all associated documentation in a common repository (meeting minutes, decisions, sign offs etc). · Facilitate workshops for gathering requirements and putting together the plan and resources. · Manage and control project and project delivery teams and vendors to meet project deadlines, escalate issues for appropriate and timely resolution, and adhere to Project Management Office ("PMO") methodologies. · Provide continuous risk management enabling proactive decisions and actions to mitigate project scope, schedule overages. · Facilitate communications and presentations and up to date work progress across key stakeholders to meet timely attainment of project milestones. Required Qualifications and Experience: · Bachelor's Degree · 10+ years of Project/ Program Management experience · Very Strong SDLC/ Waterfall knowledge and WBS Skillset of SDLC · Windows server environments (cloud, virtual and physical) · Network basics LAN/WAN and components (i.e. switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers) · Security basics including antivirus, security and event monitoring, intrusion prevention · Disaster recovery (DR) services or business continuity · Data center, application, server migrations · Demonstrate strong leadership skills with significant direct interface with vendors and senior executives. · Communication - Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills · Experience in Microsoft Project (project planning and tracking), Power Point (status reports and presentations), RAID logs Preferred Qualifications and Experience: · PMP/ PgMP Certification. · Experience in a medical/ regulated environment. · ServiceNow (status reporting) IT Program & Project Management manages the execution of programs and projects within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while minimizing risk, and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies. Has advanced understanding of project and program management, PMBOK comprehensive knowledge of project management methodology and SDLC. Has basic knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in a job family or skill. Applies knowledge and skills to complete own work. Depends on others for instruction, guidance and direction. Develops competence in own area by performing routine work.
