Be a Vital Part of Patient Care as a Hospital Environmental Service Technician! Are you passionate about making a positive impact on patient care? We are looking for a dedicated Environmental Service Technician to join our hospital team and help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our patients, visitors, and healthcare providers. As an Environmental Service Technician, you will be on the front lines of infection prevention and patient safety. Under the direct supervision of the floor supervisor, this position is responsible for the cleaning and sanitary condition of all patient areas, offices, public and private restrooms by surface cleaning and wet mopping in order to maintain a sanitary condition at all times. These tasks are routinely completed daily or as needed. Working in a hospital setting, you will follow strict protocols to ensure that all areas are disinfected, sanitized, and maintained to the highest standards. Minimum Job Requirements: * Knowledge of all equipment used and skills necessary to perform assigned tasks * 1-2 years' experience in a related field (environmental services, custodial, housekeeping roles) especially in a healthcare or hospital setting prefered but not required. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to creating a safe, sanitary environment. * Physical ability to perform essential cleaning duties, including standing, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
