Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities: Provide Electrical Engineering support to a complex DoD program Translate end-user requirements into functional designs Own the design process for assigned projects Interface with vendors on specifications for printed circuit board manufacturing and assembly Apply knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering processes, design, development, and testing Work as a hardware developer in a DoD-related organization Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer 2 years experience with PCB layout software (Altium or equivalent) 2 years experience with analog and digital circuit design as well as PCB layout and analysis Demonstrated ability to plan and design project work to meet objectives and requirements Experience with industry standard Computer Aided Design products for documenting system designs Preferred Skills & Experience: Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout software Experience with RF circuit/antenna design and test methodologies Familiarity with FPGA and ASIC logic design and hardware integration Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering is required Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position Benefits & Compensation: Comprehensive health and welfare plans, ESOP, competitive 401(k) programs, continuing education assistance, paid time off, and more
