Job Title: Industrial EngineerJob Description We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting labor and process studies, analyzing labor data, and supporting corrective action projects to minimize labor variances. This role involves direct observation in production areas, including Cleanroom environments, and requires strong analytical and documentation skills. Responsibilities Collect labor data for Direct and Indirect Labor from information systems and through direct observation. Analyze labor data against existing standards using provided templates and recommend improvements if necessary. Identify root causes and propose corrective actions where large variances to standards exist. Support corrective action projects to minimize labor variances. Author and update technical and process documentation as required. Update Labor Routings and Standards as needed. Lead yield improvements, reduce variability, and support manufacturing in resolving technical problems. Lead product cost reduction initiatives. Develop and maintain positive rapport and working relationships with personnel across the organization. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Experience managing labor standards data. Experience working in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or laboratory environment. Lean and/or Six Sigma Training. Project management skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Detail and deadline oriented. High initiative with the ability to work independently. Strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels within the organization. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for detailed data analysis. Ability to conduct in-person observations in production areas, including Cleanroom environments. Work Environment This role involves working in production areas, including Cleanroom environments. The position requires several hours daily spent in these areas to observe and collect labor data.
