Job Details Level Entry Job Location Davenport Branch - Davenport, IA Position Type Full Time Education Level HS Diploma or recognized equivalent Salary Range $23.08 - $24.04 Hourly Job Shift Monday-Friday Job Category Banking Description Job Summary: The BSA Analyst is responsible for aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML), USA Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) compliance. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Review, analyze, and prepare reports to monitor and identify suspicious activity. Review standard core reports related to kiting, OFAC, and transactional activities. Review alerts and cases generated by Verafin. Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Customer Identification Program (CIP) reviews on all new clients and/or Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews of existing high-risk clients in accordance with Bank policies and procedures. Monitor customer activity, including conducting investigations and completing written narratives including SAR filing recommendations. Oversee reports and transmission files from the Currency Transaction Reporting System and related exemption processing. Review sales of monetary instruments. Process Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) 314(a) list. Review transactional activity processed by business Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) clients. Assist BSA Officer in preparing for external audits and regulatory exams. Serve as resource to various areas of the Bank including Retail and Back Office Support, providing feedback to questions related to BSA/AML and fraud. Support the Bank's record retention and document imaging initiative as it pertains to BSA/AML. Qualifications Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced problem solving and analytical abilities. Ability to multi-task, reprioritize workloads, and shift focus to address operational circumstances. Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications: High school diploma or recognized equivalent required. 3+ years of banking experience required. Operations/retail banking experience preferred.
