Page Ave, Endicott, NY Broome County, NY Position Type: Direct Hire Pay: $28/HR Job Summary: The CMM Programmer/Inspector is responsible for programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to measure the dimensions and geometries of manufactured parts. They will analyze data, ensure parts meet quality standards, and generate reports. Key Responsibilities: CMM Programming: Develop measurement programs based on engineering drawings and CAD models using GD&T principles. Calibration and Setup: Calibrate CMMs regularly and set up machines for accurate measurement tasks. Measurement and Inspection: Operate CMMs to inspect parts and verify conformance to quality standards. Data Analysis: Analyze measurement data, identify deviations, and use statistical tools to support decision-making. Documentation and Reporting: Generate inspection reports and communicate results to relevant teams. Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Address machine issues and perform routine maintenance for optimal performance. Lean Process Improvement: Utilize Lean tools to identify and eliminate waste in measurement processes. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Experience in quality control, manufacturing, or similar environments Proficiency in CAD and metrology software for CMM programming Strong understanding of GD&T principles Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual base compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, actual experience, and job performance.
