Building Controls Technician

Overview   Immediate Hiring Need for a Controls Technician Are you a skilled technician experienced in preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of control systems? Responsibilities Troubleshoot control system and complete repairs Diagnose and repair complex control system malfunctions, utilizing extensive knowledge of various electronic or digital control systems Create flow diagrams, sequence of operations, bill of materials, network layouts, and electrical schematics Propose field retrofits, upgrades, and enhancements to existing equipment Write modifications in multiple languages of systems software Load and commission system and network-level controllers Validate complete system functionality and troubleshoot issues with subcontractors and other trades Consult with customers through data analysis and site assessments Assist sales by offering technical recommendations for leads Document field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections Train customers in control system operations Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of experience in comfort building automation Experience installing and servicing control systems on HVAC equipment Effective communication skills  Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people Effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems Not Required But Our Ideal Candidate Would Have: Experience in HVAC systems programming Benefits: Competitive Starting Pay Paid Training Global Advancement Opportunities Company Vehicle  Medical/Dental/Vision insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Life Insurance 401(k) savings plan with company match Short-Term and Long-Term Disability ***Veterans Are Encouraged to Apply***
