Our Roofing Advisors are committed company employees, responsible for selling a roofing system tailored to the customer's needs through either retail or insurance sales process. Other responsibilities include timely sales lead follow-up and building and fostering a network of referrals. Roofing Advisors will be provided a weekly supply of sales leads! Responsibilities Understand the basic sales process for both retail and insurance roofing sales and be able to discern when either type of sale is appropriate for a particular customer Ability to develop sales skills in retail or insurance sales if lacking significant experience in one or the other Willingness to participate in weekly and daily training to improve sales skills Discipline to manage leads within the company CRM software daily Comfortable and supportive of a team environment where Roofing Advisors act as professionals and share information, data, and market observations within the team Develop relationships with customers; manage difficult customer situations; respond to requests for assistance in a timely manner Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers, adjusters, vendors and other members of the public Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through email, telephone, in person meetings and industry events Document all sales activity in database with a high degree of accuracy and correctness Use marketing tools and data to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness Maintain up-to-date calendar, be timely to appointments and responsive to customers and co-workers Payment collection Attend department meetings, keep current on sales information, products and industry trends Train other sales representatives Meet or exceed sales targets Job Requirements At least 2 years of sales experience in roofing Experience in both retail and insurance roofing sales preferred Comfortable working with technology; iPad based CRM, email, basic computer skills Ability to incorporate weekly and daily training into their sales schedule Ability to travel; must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record Excellent communication skills; good listener Effective and professional presentation skills Self-motivated; sales driven and a team player Ability to overcome objections and perform within a short sales cycle Familiarity with building codes, laws, and regulations Ability to safely climb stairs, set and climb a ladder/roof Familiarity with tablets, Apple iPads (iPadOS) Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Benefits Company vehicle and fuel card Medical, dental and vision insurance Prescription benefits Life insurance Disability benefits Paid Time Off Casual dress code
