Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift

Essential Functions: Work from blueprints, manuals, and instructions Set up and maintain equipment such as punch presses, conveyor systems, and automatic tape machines Operate equipment, run sample units, and make required operating adjustments Troubleshoot and repair equipment, diagnose problems, and obtain necessary parts Monitor press line operations and check quality of units being produced Fill out required maintenance records Additional Responsibilities: Notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating problems Help relieve operators for lunch and break Use various precision measuring instruments and common hand tools Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition Perform other duties as assigned Job Scope: Completes tasks in resourceful and effective ways Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative Makes recommendations for solutions Assists with maintenance tasks efficiently Education and Experience Requirements: 2-3 years' experience in industrial maintenance Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of repair procedures and equipment operation Ability to use mathematics and precision measuring instruments Exercise judgment and comply with safety policies and procedures Physical/Visual Demands/Work Environment: Physical agility and strength required Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Inside conditions, extremes of heat, exposure to humidity, and high noise levels Some exposure to outside weather elements, oil, and dirt
