This position is responsible for multiple activities centered around the department's implementation of the Child Care and Development Block Grant and child care services. Core Hours:Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM This position, within the Division of Family Well-Being and Protection (FWB+P), is responsible for supporting the Department's implementation of the Child Care and Development Fund program. Tasks include tracking and analyzing federal CCDF laws and policy, development of the CCDF State Plan, completion of federally required CCDF reports, contract management, collaboration with internal and external partners throughout the State and strategic planning to ensure continued compliance with CCDF regulations. The ideal candidate will: Has current/relevant experience with state and federal policy. Has current/relevant experience in the field of child care or early childhood education. Has strong technical writing skills and ability to provide good written documentation in a timely manner. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with HHS colleagues, state agencies and early childhood partners throughout the State. Demonstrate excellent judgment and communication skills. Ability to prioritize and work under pressure. Ability to work independently. Demonstrates integrity and a strong work ethic. Ability to use independent judgement to make sound decisions. A total of two years of graduate-level education and full-time experience (as described in part a), where twenty-four semester hours of accredited graduate college or university course work in any field equals one year of full-time experience. 3) Graduation from an accredited school of law. 4) Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes nine months of full-time work as a Program Planner 2 or twenty-seven months of full-time work as a Program Planner 1.
