Job Type Full-time Description About M&D For the past 80 years, M&D has led the aftermarket in remanufacturing innovation to address technological advancements and changing customer needs. Those partnerships with key suppliers like Bosch, Garrett, Federal Mogul, Cummins, Stanadyne, Holset, BorgWarner, Delphi, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Denso and others have been critical in honing our remanufacturing capabilities and expanding our parts offering to include new, no core options in fuel injectors and fuel pumps, diesel engine cylinder heads, blocks, crankshafts and connecting rods. M&D also stocks a complete assortment of turbos (new and remanufactured), inframe overhaul kits, filtration and aftertreatment parts including DPFs, DOCs, EGRs, sensors and other engine parts. Our strong remanufacturing roots combined with our 41 branch locations, a nationwide outside sales team of 25 and our close OEM and Manufacturer partnerships make us unique in the industry - no one understands diesel engine failure analysis and parts better than M&D. Position Summary The responsibility of the Data Specialist is to work with a team in achieving the company's strategic objective by following company systems and processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Systematically update products, parts, and items for compliance with company standards aswell as assist the department in additional special projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Attend weekly check-in meetings Document and resolve problem logs on a weekly basis Escalate problems to management using the work variance tools provided Follow the work request standards to support unplanned work requests from management as needed Develop and recommend new systems to management Look for improvements to be made to existing systems and processes Review new and update formalized company systems, while also keeping the operations manual up to date Review and respond to company emails daily Review and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly routine tasks and special projects Update products, parts, and items for compliance within company standards Assist with and complete special project tasks that advance the efforts of HHP marketing and sales Perform all work to company policies, procedures and system standards to meet the company's strategic objective. Data Entry: Manage P# requests daily and communicate with sales regarding product and pricing changes Complete data updates related to parts, products, and other items Compile and analyze data for products routinely, as well as assist with special projects and meet goals or report variances Report on Special Project progress Communication with outside vendors to obtain required information as needed Requirements Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): 2 Years experience working with Microsoft and google suite programs High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of NetSuite software (preferred) Excellent communication skills specifically verbal and writing. Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening. Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.
