Northern Light Health Department: Medical Group Administration Position is located: Mercy Fore River Work Type: Full Time Hours Per Week: 40.00 Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Summary: The Ambulatory Performance Improvement Program Manager is responsible for managing the MO Performance Improvement Program; including the coordination of local site efforts to meet accreditation, regulatory, and quality program requirements on a continuous basis (e.g., CMS, TJC, PCMH, etc.). The PI Program Manager develops site priorities for improvement and directs the site in implementation and support of clinical improvements to assist in achieving high clinical outcomes and quality patient satisfaction. The PI Program Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the Performance Improvement Program's local and system strategies. The PI Program Manager maintains a collaborative relationship with the practice staff (medical & non-medical), system quality staff, and others to assist with the provision of quality patient care. Responsibilities: • Maintains knowledge of existing and proposed regulatory and quality program measurement. • Works collaboratively with system quality team to understand quality program content and requirements. • Analyze local practice performance of clinical quality metrics including patient experience to support development of program goals/strategies leading to local and system goal achievement • Develops site specific program priorities for improvements and guides the site in implementation and support of clinical improvements e.g., Performance Improvement Playbook to assist in achieving high clinical outcomes and quality patient satisfaction. • Lead local implementations of Ambulatory Navigation team strategies/projects. • Implements external and internal audits recommendations, as directed. • Monitors activities for and ensures compliance with laws, regulation, accreditation, and local policy. • Performs other duties as delegated by management for which the employee is qualified to perform. • Demonstrates self-motivation with an ability to work independently, prioritize needs, pay attention to detail, organize complex processes, think creatively, and interact in a professional manner. • Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively with members, physicians, other medical disciplines, and management staff.
