Jr Staff Accountant

Wash N' Roll is looking for a staff accountant to join our team in our Mt. Juliet office. This person will assist the Financial Controller with accounting procedures to ensure Wash N' Roll's overall financial health. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail and deep knowledge of regional laws/regulations. Responsibilities: Assist controller   with accounting procedures and processes - Prepare p ayroll spreadsheet of hours for our PEO, prepare payroll reports and resolve HR issues. Assist with financial reports, records, month end closing, reconciliation of bank, credit card and GL accounts, settle transactions in bank accounts for consistent bookkeeping and budgets. Ensure financial compliance - business taxes, sales taxes and personal property taxes, business licenses, annual reports, credit card compliance, prepare for audits for insurance and personal property taxes. Assist departments with reporting needs, budgets and cash management. Requirements: Working towards bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field or bachelor's degree Strong math and reasoning skills Knowledge of accounting principles Excellent written and verbal communications Ability to handle information confidentially  Familiarity with QBO or NetSuite accounting software or similar preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong MS Excel skills a requirement Proven experience meeting regular deadlines An Excel competency test will be given to candidates who interview. This job is not remote. Candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
