KO442 - Afternoon Nanny or Manny - TriBeCa/Upper East ...

Overview A sweet family of five living in TriBeCa (and will be moving to the Upper East Side in December) is seeking a live-out afternoon nanny/Manny to help with their three children, ages 9, 6, and 4-years-old. All three children attend school, and the schedule for this role will be Monday through Friday, from 12 until 7:30pm. The family has another full-time nanny from 8am to 6pm. You will be responsible for a 9-year-old boy who has a medical condition which impacts his ability to attend school consistently. It is a huge bonus if you have a teaching or tutoring background. Responsibilities Pick up children from school and transport them to and from extracurriculars Help the other nanny and with household tasks that need to be done Supervise dinner and bedtime routines  Help the 9-year-old travel safely throughout the city Arrange any care needed in tangent with Mom Actively engage with children through play, reading, and creative activities Qualifications Active, energetic, and able to keep up with the busy afternoon shuffle Intellectually curious with the desire to really interact with the children  Firm and kind with the ability to enforce boundaries  Patient and understanding Mature and seasoned with common sense Looking for a long-term commitment with a great family  Education or tutoring background! Requirements A valid driver's license and clean record (the family will provide a car for work use) Swimming is NOT required, but would be a bonus  Willing to work in a busy household with family members present Ability and willingness to work with a friendly small dog Experience working with multiple school aged children  Willingness to travel in the future is NOT required but would be a bonus  Ability to go to the Hamptons in the summer Salary and Benefits $35-45/hr.
