Location: Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan Time Commitment: Flexible, including weekends and weekdays Timeframe: 5 hours per day or per week Duration: Ongoing Position Overview : We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate volunteers to join our outreach team and help make a positive impact in our community. As a Farmer's Market Volunteer, you will assist with distributing program flyers within the farmer's market area. Key Responsibilities: Conduct street outreach by distributing program flyers to local businesses, community-based organizations, health clinics, customers, and community members. Promote the Over-The-Counter (OTC) benefits program. Support general market operations as needed. Qualifications: Passion for healthy eating, local agriculture, and community engagement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a regular volunteer schedule.
