Total Line Refrigeration, a SmartCare Company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing financial statements and reports, facilitating successful month-end closures, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. As a Senior Accountant, you will handle complex tasks related to maintaining ledger accounts and generating financial statements and reports. This is the highest non-supervisory level, where you may provide functional advice or training to less experienced accountants. Qualifications include a degree in accounting or finance, along with five to seven years of significant professional experience. Key Responsibilities: Daily and month-end accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, tax reports, cost analysis, accounts payable review, and fixed asset maintenance. Book and record general accounting documents, ensuring proper safekeeping. Provide assistance with weekly A/P payment process, summarize monthly payment reports, monitor daily financial positions, and review daily cash reports. Handle daily and monthly sales postings, reconcile accounts payable balances with inter-company transactions, and manage daily and monthly IC processes. Assist with managing year-end external audits. Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance workflow and ERP systems. Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and work on periodic updates to financial forecasts. Collaborate with Business, Marketing, Ops, and Finance teams to quantify and analyze financial performance. Possible 25% travel requirement, as needed. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance. No immigration sponsorship is available for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Strong analytical skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage ad hoc projects alongside routine duties. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Experience or knowledge of ERP systems. Accounting or finance certification, such as CPA or CMA.
