About the team: You will be part of a dynamic architecture and engineering team that is accountable for the organization's DDI environment. We provide FIS internal teams and managed external customers with centralized and standardized DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services in a consistent cost-effective manner. What you will be doing: Performs device configurations, internal operating system upgrades and software upgrades and deploys Infoblox physical/VM appliances & NTP hardware. Utilizing the Service-Now ticket management system (SNOW) for Incident, Problem, Change and CMDB Performs customer service duties and responds to FIS & client DDI/NTP change, problem and incident tickets as defined by management, while completing assignments in a timely manner maintaining SLA's and the highest level of quality. Work with internal and external regulatory bodies for Audit and Risk Monitors, responds, and provides escalated support for all DDI/NTP related items Understand how security controls are applied to technology (SIEM, TACACS, Cyberark, Splunk, etc.) Troubleshoots DDI/NTP problems and recommends corrective procedures; assists with troubleshooting Infoblox equipment and all other DDI/NTP issues. Available for off-hours scheduled and non-scheduled activities Prepares activity reports as requested by management. Identifies opportunities to improve workflow, creates and maintains supporting documentation for review by peers and management. Completes DDI/NTP change requests in accordance with service level agreements. Maintains DDI/NTP lab and production equipment inventory. What you bring: Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Requires 5 plus years' experience performing hands on DDI/NTP infrastructure engineering, diagnosing and correcting DDI/NTP problems and DDI/NTP equipment installation and configuration Uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters Works independently on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles Effectively communicates with all levels of technical and non-technical personnel both verbally and written in a clear, concise, and professional manner on issues or complex information Participates as a senior member in strategic planning and direction Develops, documents, and implements standards and guidelines Able to assess technologies, equipment, and vendors to determine benefits for deployment, performs Proof of Concept activities regarding new technologies and/or designs SKILLS & ABILITIES Requires in-depth knowledge of DDI/NTP technologies, i.e., DHCP (ISC, Infoblox, Windows), DNS (ISC, Infoblox, Microsoft DNS), IP Address Management (Infoblox & other related technologies) & NTP protocols Knowledge of network technologies, i.e., routers, switches, load balancers, firewalls, network (public vs private IP space), CIDR & routing protocols Knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture Knowledge of monitoring technologies, i.e., SIEM, Splunk, SNMP & others Knowledge of IP & DNS domain registrars, i.e., ARIN, RIPE, MarkMonitor & others Knowledge of scripting languages, i.e., Shell, Perl, Python, PHP & others Requires knowledge of basic office tools Ability to understand and apply technical concepts Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Flexibility, versatility, dependability What we offer you: Attractive benefits including private medical cover, dental cover, and travel insurance A multifaceted job with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities A broad range of professional education and personal development possibilities - FIS is your final career step!
