Description Job Description Overview: The Manager of Quality and Reliability will be a dynamic leader who will lead the Asus NUC quality team (based in Taiwan) and will be responsible for driving the global quality and reliability efforts for ASUS NUC. This role will play a pivotal part in developing and executing the quality & reliability strategies for Asus NUC products and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional product quality & reliability that sets the ASUS NUC apart from competition. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Owns the product qualification and manufacturing ramps to high volume, ensuring the quality and reliability of products and processes meet organizational requirements. Owns health and performance indicators for product quality and reliability. Drives continuous process improvement and proactive quality programs with ODMs and their factories to develop a quality culture mindset. Gathers insights from structured and unstructured data using statistics to determine the disposition of products and systems that do not meet the required specifications. Performs quality assessments and audits, and evaluates materials, processes, and techniques used in production to confirm compliance with quality standards of products and equipment. Responsible for excursion management, change control, supplier audit, and driving supplier continuous improvement. Responds to customer reported issues related to design/manufacturing and provides engineering solutions to address customer concerns and improve customer experience. Maintain good attendance and punctuality Knowledge and Skills: Familiar with statistical process control procedures & analysis. Knowledge of product qualification, manufacturing quality systems and methods for electronic equipment/PCs. Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving skills Assist in integration of quality methodologies between different teams within Asus Familiar with Intel X86 architecture Familiar with PC board level and system level architecture Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Creative Thinker and problem solver with a passion for innovation and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices Required Qualifications: Years of Education Master's degree in any Engineering discipline (Electrical, Computers, Chemical, Mechanical etc.) or a related field Work Experience 10+ years of experience in managing Quality and Reliability teams within the technology sector, preferably with experience in PC hardware or consumer electronics Preferred Qualifications: Used JMP or other statistical tools. Familiar with Thermal/Mechanical analysis Working Conditions: Office Only: Typically works in an office environment Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 15 pounds Occasional travel may be required- approx. 10% international and domestic travel.
