We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager who has a passion for what they do and is excited to become the next member of our dynamic team. Typical Responsibilities Recruitment and Onboarding: A critical part of this role's function centers on recruitment and onboarding of vetted and highly qualified candidates/employees. Manage the talent acquisition process: recruitment, screening, interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants. Collaborate with departmental managers on required skills and competencies, urgency of need, and status of recruitment efforts. Work with the marketing team to promote open positions across relevant channels. Oversee processes for new staff onboarding: E-Verify compliance, I-9 compliance, background checks, drug screening, orientation, system access, hardware setup, and initial basic training. Maintain staff retention levels and collaborate on staff retention, satisfaction, and training. Payroll and Benefits: Process payroll weekly, including ensuring accurate employee timekeeping, deductions, and tax filings. Manage employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and PTO. Reconcile benefits/health insurance invoices against current employee roster and resolve any discrepancies. Employee Relations and Development: Maintain career development ladders, standards, and programs. This includes a framework for ongoing feedback and growth, such as annual performance reviews and recurring one-on-one meetings between managers and staff. Oversee training and continuing education programs: leadership coaching, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, aptitude exams and certifications, safety training, bi-lingual education, and training related to departmental operations. Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, investigations, terminations and exit interviews. Manage employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, supervisors and third parties, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff Maintain open availability, build relationships and provide support across the organization Manage communication and logistics to support diverse workforce needs; including Spanish-speaking employees. Execute recognition program for staff birthdays and work anniversaries. Compliance and Administration: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law, and incorporate updates into the HR framework as needed. Develop and implement HR policies and maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations, along with recommended best practices; ensure managers and staff are well-informed on policy protocols. Oversee HRIS administration: attendance records, payroll, benefits, time off requests and leaves of absence. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Perform other duties related to this position. Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin/management, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in HR administration preferred. Knowledge of HR and compliance regulations and best practices. Fluent Bilingual English/Spanish speaking and listening skills required. Payroll, ERP and business management spreadsheet/software experience required. Google, Paylocity and Aspire experience a plus. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP are highly desired. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Salary Description $60,000.00/year
