Job Summary The CI Manager - Safety & Quality will be responsible for developing, leading, & managing Continuous Improvement activities in the areas of Safety, Quality, & Operations. This role will have responsibilities across multiple sites with some travel. Reports to the Director of Operations. CI Safety Responsibilities & Expectations Promotes a SAFE work culture in all sites. Establish emergency procedures and conduct drills to equip employees for unforeseen incidents ensuring swift and appropriate responses. Undertake regular inspections of all plant facilities and perform job hazard analysis. Develop and lead safety training sessions for all levels of employees covering a wide range of topics including correct equipment usage, chemical handling, and safe work practices. Develop, lead, and maintain HAZCOM and HAZMAT response teams. Compile and maintain all environmental health and safety documentation including OSHA Logs, training records, and incident reports. Develop roles and responsibilities for Emergency Response Team Champion Safety Committee led by employees Update Safety Manuals for Operations & Installation Sites Maintain compliance with Environmental regulations Champions "Every Site Safe" Dashboard Metrics - Leading and Lag CI Quality Responsibilities & Expectations Leads the development of Quality Standards & Documentation Champions the development of Quality Management System Champions CAPAs, RCAs - RMAs, Customer Complaints, COPQ Develops, issues, & participates in internal audit Maintains Quality Dashboard Metrics - Leading and Lag Demonstrated understanding of industry specifications. (i.e. color, substrates, protective coating, warranty, etc.) CI Operations Responsibilities & Expectations Partner with leadership to initiate 5S deployment Host Kaizen events to eliminate process waste Develop tracking systems for equipment preventative maintenance Utilize a variety of Lean tools and techniques to drive process improvements. Offer personalized coaching, mentoring, and support to all associates. What You'll Bring... High degree of Emotional Intelligence Excellent Communication - Verbal & Written Minimum 5 years of Manufacturing/Operations Experience in Leadership Roles Experience with Quality & Safety systems Experience with Lean tools Bachelor's Degree preferred - a combination of relevant education, industry, & professional experience may also be considered.
