Shift Primarily Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm, with occasional evenings and weekends per departmental needs. (On-Call rotation.) Job Summary The Automation Tooling Engineer II will support and maintain Enterprise IT operations monitoring, automation, and availability as it impacts performance, increased efficiency, accuracy, effectiveness, and automated resolution to meet process needs. Additional responsibilities will include: collaboration in the support and maintenance of SPLUNK environment to include infrastructure, applications, data ingest; managing the requirements analysis, functional specification definition and design processes, and testing/implementation of enhancements; responsible for the overall development, support and maintenance of IT automation initiatives; evaluation of emerging IT operations that provide automation relevance to the healthcare environment; providing tier 2 support of all Automation Tooling incidents. IEBC (Internal Employee Being Considered) This position is hybrid; primarily remote with occasional onsite work as required. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) experience; Microsoft System Center Orchestrator (SCOrch) experience; SPLUNK Cloud and Enterprise experience; Microsoft Windows and Linux OS experience; experience automating IT processes, monitoring, and remediation workflows; policy and procedure development experience; PowerShell; Git. ITIL Foundation highly preferred. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
