Mobile HVAC Technician Job Description Essential Functions: Maintenance: Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment Familiarize with equipment and proper usage methods, including building automation and fire/life safety systems Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions affecting client operations Safety: Complete Hazard Assessments as needed Comply with safety procedures and maintain clean, safe work areas Identify and propose solutions for safety hazards Adhere to state, county, and city ordinances, codes, and laws Complete required safety trainings Practice defensive driving Administrative: Update work order status in real-time Utilize CMMS for all work performed Escalate problems to customers and managers promptly Attend work and safety meetings as required Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent Two years of trade school or documented apprenticeship preferred Experience: Minimum 4 years technical experience in building engineering Strong background in packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and equipment repair Knowledge of system design and applications Certifications and Licenses: Universal CFC recovery certification (or obtain within 90 days of employment) 3rd Party Certification preferred Valid state driver's license Ability to perform Vehicle Safety Inspection
