JOB SUMMARY IPG's Medical Products Group is focused on developing next-generation medical products based on IPG's state-of-the-art lasers. The Assembler is responsible for assembly, testing and service of medical device products and prototypes JOB FUNCTIONS Duties/Responsibilities: Assemble medical products and components Monitor and manipulate equipment and processes used to assemble medical products Follow written manufacturing procedures and complete documentation Maintain cleanliness of work and common areas Perform other essential duties as assigned. Requirements REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: High School diploma is required or General Educational Development (GED). Cleanroom environment experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Detail oriented with close attention to accuracy Works well in a team environment and as an individual contributor Regular and reliable attendance with ability to work overtime Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very small Conducts quality control checks. Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools. Requires strong English communication skills, both in reading and writing. Ability to work in a team environment.
