As the Senior Director of Global Key Accounts, you will be responsible for leading and managing the sales performance, strategy and operations across Aldevron's Global Key Account Team. You will play a pivotal role in driving orders and revenue growth, building and maintaining critical client relationships, and ensuring the overall success of the team. This position requires a highly motivated and experienced professional with a proven track record in sales leadership and a deep understanding of the biotech and pharmaceutical client space. This position is part of the Global Sales Organization and will be fully remote. You will be a part of the Global Sales Leadership Team and report to the VP, Global Sales responsible for Global Sales and Commercial Operations. The Senior Director Global Key Account Manager will embrace DBS and passionately demand that the DBS fundamentals; visual daily management, standard work, voice of the customer, Kaizen basics, 5S, value stream mapping and solid commercial fundamentals are consistently implemented and followed In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Sales Performance: Develop and implement a comprehensive Key Account sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives and market dynamics, in order to hit an assigned team quota across Aldevron's largest and most strategic clients Team Leadership: Lead, develop, mentor, and motivate a team of high-performing Key Account Managers, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team targets. Sales Enablement: Develop and refine sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Sales Insights: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement Forecasting: Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management to support business planning and resource allocation. The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor's degree in a life science related field, business administration, marketing, or a related field. 10 years proven experience in sales management roles. Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of sales strategies, methodologies, and best practices. Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and sales performance improvements. Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets. At Aldevron we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. The salary range for this role is $230,000 - $275,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for incentive pay.
