The Rizzuto Law Firm is seeking a meticulous, detail-oriented Legal Bookkeeper to join our personal injury law firm who shares our core values. ALL levels of experience (from a part-time bookkeeper to a full-time) will be considered for this role. A basic understanding of bookkeeping is a minimum requirement for this job which will entail, issuing checks for business operations, case disbursements, and client payments as well as performing bank reconciliations. Proficiency in Excel is required in order to generate and analyze data for intakes and settlements by case type. Organizational Skills are a must! Knowledge of PC Law is a plus! Responsibilities: YOU will be responsible for 4 things: • Managing the firm's finances which includes depositing money; paying bills and issuing checks; recording all entries in our bookkeeping system; generating financial statements; tracking intakes and settlements by case type; ordering supplies; coordinating with outside vendors • Meticulous email and telephone follow-up • Client development - including intake calls for new clients and following up with existing clients • Mastering our case management system known as Trial Works and accounting system known as PC Law Qualifications: There are 4 Essential Requirements to work with our team: • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Technologically Savvy - consultations, electronic filing, and Docu-Sign, you must be comfortable using technology • Must be comfortable being part of a high-performing team • Prior Law Firm experience is a plus but not necessary Compensation: $24 per hour • YOU will be responsible for 4 things: • Managing the firm's finances which includes depositing money; paying bills and issuing checks; recording all entries in our bookkeeping system; generating financial statements; tracking intakes and settlements by case type; ordering supplies; coordinating with outside vendors • Meticulous email and telephone follow-up • Client development - including intake calls for new clients and following up with existing clients • Mastering our case management system known as Trial Works and accounting system known as PC Law
