As a part-time Weekend Outlet Associate / Sales Floor & Product Handler  you play an essential role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers as you support the behind-the-scenes work of our outlet. You are comfortable using your hands and prefer working on your feet in a fast-paced, retail environment, but you also appreciate engaging with customers to complete their shopping experience with "wow" customer-service moments. You'll join a team of positive people who love what they do as they represent the Room & Board brand and enjoy a sense of camaraderie in working together. Schedule: In this part-time role as a Weekend Outlet Associate / Sales Floor & Product Handler, you will work Saturdays and Sundays: 9:30am-6pm, with one weekend off per month. Location: 2525 West 22nd Street, Oak Brook, IL 60523 As a part-time Weekend Outlet Associate / Sales Floor & Product Handler, you'll be responsible for: Actively looking for ways to answer questions, offer solutions, and engage with customers Processing sales orders using a computer system that maintains customer and sales information Using equipment to move furniture on and off the showroom floor Wrapping upholstery for delivery Loading home furnishings into customer's vehicles Engaging with customers on the showroom floor and creating a positive customer experience Working productively and effectively in a high energy environment Problem-solving in a variety of situations You'll bring the following qualities as a Weekend Outlet Associate / Sales Floor & Product Handler: High level of professionalism and passion to be a strong brand ambassador Desire to focus on serving the customer with agility, confidence, and enthusiasm Strong attention to detail Position Requirements: Ability to consistently lift and mobilize furniture and accessories, while utilizing appropriate equipment and adhering to safety guidelines What you'll find working here: We offer a refreshing approach to retail combined with an extraordinary culture.
