Role Overview: The Account Technology Officer (ATO) for the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) account is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions to meet the unique needs of BFS customers. This role involves a blend of technical expertise, client relationship management, and strategic planning to drive innovation and enhance the technological capabilities of BFS accounts. Key Responsibilities: Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for BFS clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust and understanding. Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their technological needs, provide updates on ongoing projects, and identify opportunities for enhancement. Act as a strategic advisor, offering insights into emerging technologies and best practices relevant to the BFS sector. Technology Solution Development and Implementation: Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop customized solutions tailored to the specific requirements of BFS clients. Lead the design and implementation of technology projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgetary constraints, and regulatory requirements. Oversee the delivery of technology solutions, monitoring progress and resolving any issues or challenges that may arise. Strategic Planning and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies shaping the BFS landscape. Identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation within BFS accounts, proposing new technology initiatives or enhancements to existing systems. Develop strategic roadmaps in collaboration with BFS clients, outlining the long-term vision for technology integration and digital transformation. Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure that technology solutions adhere to regulatory standards and compliance requirements applicable to the BFS sector. Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential cybersecurity threats or data breaches. Stay informed about industry-specific security protocols and proactively address any vulnerabilities or gaps in the technology infrastructure. Collaboration and Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative working environment by partnering with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support. Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams involved in the delivery of technology solutions, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project objectives. Encourage knowledge sharing and professional development among team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Extensive experience in a technical role within the BFS domain, with a deep understanding of banking processes, financial products, and regulatory requirements. Proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects for BFS clients, preferably in a client-facing capacity. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation and business growth. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex challenges in a dynamic business environment.
