Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement impactful global marketing strategies that align with our organizational objectives and maximize brand visibility Lead the planning and execution of comprehensive marketing campaigns across diverse platforms including digital, print, social media, email, physical mailings, websites, landing pages and events Grow SAE's brand awareness and presence on a global stage with particular emphasis on Europe and Asia. Branding and Messaging: Craft and execute branding strategies that authentically reflect our mission, vision, and values Oversee the overall company and product branding, including design, logo, and messaging, both internally and externally Collaborate with stakeholders for cohesive and accurate communication. Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, measure ROI, and provide regular reports to leadership to enable data-driven decision-making Drive the promotion of our resources and brand to maximize visibility, engagement, and overall impact Content Oversight: Oversee marketing content creation, ensuring alignment with strategic messaging, promotion, and engagement goals Collaborate with content creators to unify and amplify marketing messages Website Management: Responsible for leading a coordinated web strategy across SAE International, leading the strategy for implementation of websites, mobile apps, and/or other digital products Oversee the e-commerce strategy to drive web retail sales, ensuring alignment with branding and strategic objectives Managing External Marketing Agencies: Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, ensuring their strategies and efforts align with SAE International's goals and standards Negotiate contracts and agreements with agencies to secure advantageous terms Monitor the performance of external agencies and provide feedback to ensure goal attainment, continuous improvement, and alignment with SAE's goals and mission Budget and Staff Management: Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions Maintain marketing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees Develop marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related business field 15+ years of professional experience in developing and executing successful integrated marketing plans 10+ of developing and executing digital/social/mobile marketing plans, managing marketing project, and managing staff Proven experience as a Senior Marketing Director or similar role, preferably in a relevant industry Strong understanding of market research and data analysis methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skill In-depth knowledge of various marketing platforms and best practices Ability to lead and inspire a team Strong project management and organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills with a "can-do" attitude Strong quantitative and metrics development skills Ability to travel 30% of the time Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
